Joined Alex FM: 2018
Kevin Wilson brings energy, experience, and a deep love of music to the mic each week on Rockin’ the Ages. Kevin’s journey with Alex FM began behind the scenes — helping out with the station’s CD library. But it didn’t take long for his enthusiasm to grow into something bigger, and in 2018, he made the leap into on-air presenting. Since then, he’s become a reliable and much-loved part of the station’s team.
Although Kevin had no previous radio experience before joining Alex FM, his passion for rock and pop music shines through in every show. A lifelong music fan, Kevin is especially devoted to supporting local and Australian artists, giving them airtime and sharing their talent with the community.
When he’s not at the station, Kevin continues to give back — volunteering with the RSL and manning the grill at the Bunnings sausage sizzles that help raise vital funds for Alex FM. With a career background in transport and retail, Kevin’s professional and community spirit is matched only by his great taste in music — with Pink Floyd topping his list of all-time favourites (especially their iconic track Money).
