Kevin Wallace is the dynamic Chairperson and seasoned presenter at Alex FM, bringing more than two decades of community radio experience to the station. He joined the team in 2019, quickly becoming a vital part of both its on-air programming and leadership.
With a deep-rooted love for upbeat music and an instinct for engaging radio, Kevin’s passion for broadcasting began long before his time in Goolwa. He has served at various community radio stations across South Australia, always championing the core values of local content, independent music, and authentic community connection.
As Chairperson, Kevin is dedicated to ensuring Alex FM remains a welcoming, accessible platform for volunteers and an essential voice for the Fleurieu Peninsula. His background in the communications industry, paired with a lifelong appreciation for music from the ’60s through the ’80s, makes him a natural fit for both leadership and presenting.
In retirement, Kevin continues to channel his energy into the station, mentoring new presenters, driving strategic initiatives, and — of course — spinning great tracks every week.
