With more than 30 years as a DJ and a lifetime passion for music, Keith Brewin brings smooth sounds and great vibes to the Alex FM airwaves every Monday afternoon. Keith’s journey into radio came after an already impressive media background, having appeared on afternoon television shows earlier in his career. But it wasn’t until 2014 that he stepped behind the mic at Alex FM, bringing his extensive music knowledge — and easygoing charm — to community radio.
Before retirement, Keith spent over 25 years working in operating theatres, bringing precision and dedication to his profession. Now, he pours that same energy into Monday Cruise and into Lemongrass & Lime Bath and Body, the thriving local business he runs with his wife.
Keith enjoys a wide variety of music — from easy listening to pop classics — and says there’s no way he could pick just one favourite song or artist. For him, the joy of community radio lies in the freedom to share the music he loves, connect with local listeners, and occasionally bring a guest into the studio for a chat.
